Frame - The frame is the support structure for the Suspended chairs. Because it is only attached to the floor, Suspend-It seating can hold up to 500 pounds per chair. The frame pictured to the left is an Exposed Post Standard Feet frame used for existing kitchens. |
| Arm - The arm is what connects the frame and the chair. It pivots to accommodate almost any sized person. | |
| Shroud - The shroud is a decorative cover that clips onto the front of the frame and keeps fingers safely away from the moving components inside. | |

Arm Pivot - The arm pivot (located behind the shroud) allows the chair to swing out. It is also equiped with the Slow Return & Soft Stop system. This system is engineered to slowly return the chairs to a resting position and gently stop. |
| Seat Pivot - The seat pivot is attached to the bottom of the chair. It allows the chair to smoothly pivot to a comfortable position. | |
| Feet - The feet of the frame are hidden inside the foot box or Inverted (flipped under) the cabinet box and are attached to the floor. |

Covered Post Standard Feet |
| This style of frame is used most in new construction or remodels. The frame is hidden behind the back panel in a 3 ½" dead space. This design requires a foot box to be built over the frame feet. This box is used as a foot rest and can be covered to match your kitchen. | |

Covered Post Inverted Feet |
| This style of frame can only be used in new construction. The feet of the frames are filpped back under the cabinet box. This eliminates the need for a foot box. However, a foot rail (not supplied by Suspend-It) is recommended for standard height or raised counters to make the chairs more comfortable. Inverted feet can also be used for dropped counters.
Please note: Inverted feet frames are harder to install, will require more time to install and more work to attach the frame to the floor. |
